Barbara Heim
Barbara was born and raised in the southern interior of British Columbia. In 1991, Barbara and her husband moved to the South Cariboo, where they raised their children on a small, rural acreage. Surrounded by thick forest, bubbling creeks and abundant wildlife, this stay at home mother of two enjoyed pioneering for 16 years.
The lonely call of the coyote and the wistful song of migrating geese are ingrained in her heart forever. Her rural years and encouragement from family and friends have given her the incentive to share her love for the wilderness and nature with families through this series.
Barbara now lives on Vancouver Island with her husband. Her interests include reading, writing, riding and traveling.
This book is dedicated to families everywhere, who walk in parks, feed squirrels and study anthills!
